ABSTRAK
ABSTRACT The purpose of this study to find out the relationship and the influence of earnings per share (EPS) and dividend per share (DPS) to the stock price. Independent variables (independent) used in this study is earnings per share (EPS) and divident per share (DPS) with the dependent variable (the dependent) is the stock price. The sample used was about 30 manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the year 2010-2011 by using purposive sampling method. Before the first regression testing conducted descriptive statistical testing and then testing that includes the classical assumption of normality test using the test kolmogorav smirnov, multicollinearity tests with VIF value test, and test autocorrelation using Durbin Watson test was followed by testing the hypothesis by testing the correlation coefficient, test regression coefficients using t sig test, Test of coefficient of determination. This analysis was performed using SPPS program (Statistics Product and Service Solution) ver.15, 00. Based on the results of Pearson's correlation coefficient test showed that the level of earnings per share relationships and dividend per share is positive and very strong. From the F test results indicate that earnings per share and dividends per share simultaneously affect the stock price. From the test results determination coefficient shows that the percentage contribution of independent variables influence the dependent variable at 27.5%
