DESAIN KOMUNIKASI VISUAL DALAM PERANCANGAN REDESAIN CORPORATE IDENTITY DAN APLIKASI MEDIA PROMOSI RESTORAN HARUM MANIS

ABSTRAK
Harum Manis Restaurant is a restaurant serving Indonesian food, this restaurant is located at Pavilion Apartment Jl. KH. Mas Mansyur Kav. 24, Central Jakarta as object problem in this final thesis. This restaurant offers a most variety of Indonesian food with the atmosphere of the exclu- sive Javanese culture interior. As one of the market strategy, the restaurant management wants re- design their corporate identity so that it displays a new identity to attract consumers. Therefore, it needs the role of visual communication design in designing a new corporate identity. With the role of Visual Communication Design is expected to produce a corporate identity which includes logo and its application to all media and to realize the objectives of the redesign is the expected output. Because of that, the redesign of Harum Manis Restaurant is indispensable. For a strong corpo- rate identity with a logo relation whose basic objective as a means of distinguishing among other companies, the company’s logo as an identity of its own, and besides the logo is also intended as a measure of the quality and authenticity of the products or services offered. From that theory, the writer before starting this redesign activities, should determine a strong concept for redesigning activities, ranging from the appropriate target audience, logo, logo application on other media such as stationary, to tableware as restaurant supplies, until the application on the merchandise that will be the main attraction which will help in attracting consumers.
